Hope, Spring, Dream, Environment
The team from the startup nation, team Israel has a long tradition in dinghy sailing. Israel is mostly known for its success in the 470 class and windsurfing, winning an unprecedented number of world and European titles.
Both the experienced sailors combined with the young and talented, who’ve just stepped in from the Olympic classes, have formed a strong team and are driven by the mutual goal: to be the best they can!
Teamwork and fellowship are strong traits in the nation’s history, and so when Israelis are working together and towards a common goal, they are a formidable force.
Despite the success in Olympic classes, the country is not known for its success in big boats and professional yachting. The team is determined to show success at the SSL Gold Cup and show that its sailors are capable to compete with the best on a level playing field.
